What's usually damaged in a rear-end hit
Bumper cover, energy absorber and reinforcement bar; tail lamps and their mounts; trunk lid alignment and latch; quarter panel edges; rear body panel; parking sensors and the blind-spot module; on a hard hit, the trunk floor and exhaust hangers.
