My car can't be driven. What happens now?
A car that can't move changes the claim in your favor in a few ways, and it changes what you should do first. Here's the short version.
How a non-drivable claim moves faster
Insurers prioritize cars that are off the road: the adjuster's visit or photo review usually comes within a day or two instead of a week, and loss-of-use coverage starts immediately.
Total loss or repair?
If the repair cost approaches the car's value, the insurer may total it. We write the estimate honestly either way, and if it's close we'll tell you before the insurer does so you can decide how to argue it.

Photos, a safety check, a teardown to find the hidden damage, and an estimate to your insurer. You get a loaner at the counter and an email when the insurer responds.

Who pays for the loaner while the car is down?
On a liability claim, the at-fault insurer. On your own policy, rental reimbursement coverage if you have it. Either way our $35/day loaner is usually under the limit.
Will towing it count against me?
No. Towing is a cost of the repair and is billed with it.
The car was towed to a yard by police. Now what?
Call us with the yard's name. We handle the release and bring it here; the yard fees go on the claim.
