Arizona · hurt or not, start here
Been in a wreck? What to do first for your health, your claim and your car
If you were hurt, see a doctor first. After that, we help with the car and the insurance claim, and if you want a lawyer's opinion, we can refer you. We are a body shop, not a law firm, and nothing here is legal advice.
Your health comes first
Call 911 if anyone is hurt. Even if you feel fine, get checked soon. Some injuries show up days later, and a record of the visit matters for your claim.
Getting the claim started
Report the accident to your insurance company and exchange information with the other driver. Take photos of everything. If the other driver was at fault, their insurance may pay for your repair; if not, your own collision coverage can. Sometimes both are involved, and we can help you sort out where to send the estimate.
Your car
We tow the car, send you a written estimate from photos and handle the adjuster and any supplements. Repairs over $3,500 qualify for a free tow and a loaner so you can skip the rental counter, and up to $1,000 of your deductible may be waived on qualifying repairs.
Do you want a lawyer's opinion?
Many people are not sure whether they need a lawyer after a wreck. If you would like a law firm to contact you, we can pass your request to a firm we refer accident inquiries to. The firm decides whether to contact you, and sending the request does not mean a lawyer represents you. We do not give legal advice and do not promise any payment or outcome.
Your rights in Arizona
- You choose the shopIn Arizona the insurer can recommend a repair facility; it cannot require one or refuse to pay a covered claim because you went elsewhere.
- You're owed a proper repairThe policy pays to restore the car to pre-loss condition. Which parts and procedures that means is decided by the repair plan and the estimate, not by which shop is cheaper for the insurer.
- You can see the numbersAsk any shop for the itemized estimate and the supplement. Ask the insurer for the adjuster's estimate. They should match the car, not each other.
- Your deductible is the same anywhereGoing to a non-network shop does not raise your deductible. What changes is who advocates for you when the first number is low.
Best Deal is an owner-run shop and a preferred repair partner of the insurers on our Insurance Partners page. You still choose where your car goes, and we repair it the same way either way.

Can you help me get paid for the damage?
We repair your car and work with the insurance company on the repair estimate. We cannot promise any settlement or payment amount, and we do not give legal advice.
Can you refer me to a lawyer?
Yes. Use the form on our lawyer referral page. It is optional and does not affect your repair.
Do I need a lawyer after an accident?
That depends on your situation. If you were injured or the fault is disputed, speaking with a lawyer is reasonable; most offer a free first conversation.
What if the other driver has no insurance?
Your own coverage may help. See our page on hit-by-uninsured-driver for the steps.
