Is a photo estimate accurate?

For visible damage, very. Bumpers, fenders, doors, quarter panels, hoods, lamps and paint are what photos show well, and that's most collision work. What photos can't show is behind the panel, so the estimate lists likely hidden damage separately and the final price comes from a teardown once the car is here. That's true at every shop; we just tell you up front.

Hidden damage is also why insurance estimates get supplemented. If you're on a claim, we handle the supplement with the adjuster so you don't go back and forth.

When you do need to bring it in

If the car can't be driven, we come to you: the tow is free with the repair. If airbags deployed or the frame may be bent, photos get you a starting number but the real estimate needs the car on a lift. Either way, send the photos first; it saves everyone a trip.
